shouldn't be a problem, not aware of any real issues on library computers with checking emails.
as far as secrutiy itself is on the computers at library i couldnt say.
but checking emails and general things you should be fineIs it safe to check your email from library computers?
Best thing to do after closing the browser is to go back in to your email providers webpage and see if you are still logged in. I work for a library service and we had a problem with temp internet files not clearing after the PC logged off. Also, uncheck "keep me logged in" on the email logon page
