How do i transfer my itunes folder and library from my C drive to Drive?

I'm looking to transfer my music library and itunes to my D drive as i am running out of space, and set the D drive as the default drive for my music to be added to. Sorry if this is a bit trivial but im not sure where to startHow do i transfer my itunes folder and library from my C drive to Drive?
Highlight your itunes folder and right click, select copy, then browse to the D drive and right click, select paste Open up the properties of the two folders to make sure they are identical then delete the original. Finally, rescan your itunes library pointing it to the new folder! How do i transfer my itunes folder and library from my C drive to Drive?
You probably don't want to move your iTunes to the D Drive, seeing as though it is the Recovery drive. The E drive is the CD-ROM one just fyi.... If you're running out of memory in the C Drive, maybe you could delete some of the useless crap on there, I'm sure there is a ton of it, there always is ;). A CD or DVD is a good solution, however, it is a hassle to get it back and write songs back unless you have a CD-RW. Think about an external hard drive as well, you can pick them up pretty cheaply now. Hope it helps -ZeroHow do i transfer my itunes folder and library from my C drive to Drive?
i think it's worthwhile to use a program to transfer your iTunes library from one computer to any storage device including what you need d drive since you requirement that the playlists, ratings should be retained. On the third-party program i would like to recommend Aniosoft iTunes transfer, with which you can not only backup your iTunes library but also in a proper way with the library's internal metadate, playlists, ratings and etc which you required. The backup files of iTunes library could be able to be recovered and restored later to any iTunes(authorized or not) W/out any change and risk in itunes'layout and arangement including its playlists simlpy through synchronizing it to the iTunes whenever needed. So try the Aniosoft iTunes transfer and it'll possibly work out for you.

D drive is normally the CD/DVD writer so you will need to copy your music to the CD or DVD. This needs a burning programme like Nero. I don't think it can be set as a default because of this.

Why not get a flash drive and transfer your music library to it. Just plug it into a USB port when you need to copy music to it. No burning software necessary.
