Is it legal to borrow CDs from the library to put songs on iTunes?

Is it illegal for me to borrow CDs from my local library and put only a few songs from the CD into iTunes?

Or does it fall into a legal gray area?Is it legal to borrow CDs from the library to put songs on iTunes?
As long as you don't burn new cd's to sell then you are ok. I do this all of the time. Besides, who could ever possibly find out?
Yeah its illegal, you need to have a valid unused upc code. if you are coNnected to the internet and so is the library you would both be using that upc. If they the library is set up with iTunes I think all their stuff would accounted for. the fact that you are able to burn it is weird because I thought they put an anti burning filament on it or something. Maybe its a low budget libraryIs it legal to borrow CDs from the library to put songs on iTunes?
Unless the song is in the "public domain" it is illegal to "copy" the song unless you pay for a license to do so.
it is somewhat illegal but as long as you dont sell it, you're ok. and i think you're allowed to copy a certain percentage of songs in the cd, i.e. not all songs but maybe some.Is it legal to borrow CDs from the library to put songs on iTunes?
Well even if you decided to burn a million copies of this and annonymously give it away to people... who would ever know?
