You cannot burn CDs from an Ipod Music Library. Itunes doesn't allow a Playlist to be made in the Itunes Library from the Ipod Music Library, which must be done to burn a CD. Itunes provides no error message or indication why this cannot be done, which is an annoying program flaw. Good luck!

How do you burn music from your ipod that is not in your library onto a cd?
you have to put it into a playlist at the bottom. drag and drop whatever songs you want onto a separate playlist. then place your blank cd into the drive and press the "burn disc" button in the bottom right corner

it will start burning right away

as far as i know, that isn't possible. You have to transfer the files from your iPod to your library first.
