How do you transfer your itunes library from one computer to another computer using your ipod?

i have a new computer and want to have all my old songs in my old library on my new one....do i just plug in my ipod and will it transfer all the songs autimatically? i'm afraid it might erase all my songs already on my ipodHow do you transfer your itunes library from one computer to another computer using your ipod?

There are many programs to do this. I used one called YamiPod or Copypod, there are many more out there too.How do you transfer your itunes library from one computer to another computer using your ipod?
You can actually back up your songs and stuff on your ipod itself. Enable your ipod to be used as a saving device under preference and your ipod can be used like a floppy disk or a disk drive, you can back up the music that way and it works too. Then, just add all the songs to your new computer.
