See i let my friend before, let this book from the library. Now he's not giving back and i can't contact him? I understand now not to give a book from the library to my friend ever. I learned my lesson. But what do i do now?What should i do my friend borrowed my library book?

You can't contact him . . . Why? If it's because of an argument and you've been told not to contact him, that's one thing. If it's because you don't know where he is that's another. You need to contact the library and let them know. They can contact the post office if he's moved and get a forwarding address. They can contact him if it's because you were asked not to also. You have to answer to the library for lending a book and losing it. He has to deal with 'stealing' the book, which is exactly what he's doing if he refuses to return it. With friends like him, you sure don't need any enemies.

Just get it back whenever - even if it's a year from now. The library isn't exactly a collection agency - they just want their book back. But if you are not permitted to check any more books out unless you return this one, I suggest googling his parents and *finding* a way to contact him.

Sorry, it counts as a lost book and you're going to have to pay for it. Go to your library,tell the librarian what happened, and ask how much you owe them.
Two solutions: 1) go to the library, say you lost the book, and offer to pay for it. 2) Hunt down this "friend" and get the book back.What should i do my friend borrowed my library book?
Just be glad you learned a lesson. When something like this happens to me I think to myself: " At least I learned this now and at this price, rather than later and more expensively".
Tell them you lost it and pay whatever fine they charge for losing a book. That's all you can do.
