How do I add songs to my ipod without deleting my current library?

I recently had to reformat my computer, so I had to reload the itunes software to my computer. I want to put more songs on my ipod but I don't want to have to delete my current library. help!How do I add songs to my ipod without deleting my current library?
You cant. You have to save the songs you want lets say from another persons library by opening my computer, selecting the ipod, saving the songs as if they were data there. Then open them in your own old computer and select open with itunes. There you have it but since your computer has been formated, you cant do this. sorryHow do I add songs to my ipod without deleting my current library?
