One of my friends told me you can bring back a library book to any library and it will be okay, but I've never heard of this. Is it true? Can you really do that?If you borrow a book from one library in your area and return it to a different one is that allowed?
It depends. Usually varies from County to County. In my County we have 7 libraries, they work together and you could return books at any of them. Just ask your librarian about it.If you borrow a book from one library in your area and return it to a different one is that allowed?
no because the book was at the one library. The libraries aren't interactive together because if you take out one book and return it to another, the one library won't have it anymore. so I would say no.
Hope I helped! If you borrow a book from one library in your area and return it to a different one is that allowed?
Many areas/states have delivery services to libraries that pay for the service .It may be a county, state, or affiliated group of libraries, so that if you return a book to any library in the group, it will be returned to the library where you borrowed it.
Realistically, libraries will do whatever they can to return a book to the owning library, but they may not do it promptly and you may still owe fines etc to your library. Also the library that has to send it back may not be real happy if it costs them to package %26amp; mail . Check with your library to see what you can do.
Well, not ANY library. I can't take a book I borrowed from the Salt Lake COUNTY system back to the Salt Lake CITY library (I don't think)--but I can return it to any of the nearly twenty branches in the County system. It probably varies from system to system, and you should either check their website or make a phone call to make sure.
