How do I go about moving my entire iTunes library over to my new laptop? Please make this as easy as possible. Also, are there any programs to assist in this process? How to transfer entire iTunes Library to my new laptop?
It's pretty easy. It depends on what kind of system you're using, though. On a Mac, you can get files and folders off an old Mac via Firewire when installing Mac OS X. In Windows, however, you can use either. I recommend USB though since it's found in most laptops and it's cheaper. Anyway, plug your old laptop into the new one with a USB-USB (a "Male-Male" cord as many on Amazon like to call it) and wait until it's detected on your new laptop. Once it's detected, go to My Computer and it should appear as an external hard drive/jump drive (E:/ drive, etc.). Then start dragging files off your old laptop into the new one. It's as easy as that!
However, if you don't have any USB ports (which is very unlikely), open iTunes, and go to File%26gt;Back Up To Disc... . Then, you get out tons of blank CD's (CD-RW's preferred). If your iTunes Library contains lots of videos, you'll need a lot of CD's. The smartest thing to do is back up to DVD's. Each one supports at least 4 GB of storage, so you should have a 10-pack handy (most iTunes libraries take up 5-10 GB of space [you'll need about 3 DVDs to do this], but it's great to have extras around just incase you mess up). I hope that helps.
Good luck!

When I did it, I just transferred the entire iTunes folder over a LAN.How to transfer entire iTunes Library to my new laptop?
copy all you songs onto a disk or some other external hardware and transfer it to your new laptop
copy and past it to a usb and the do the same to put it on ur laptop... just type that question in on youtube
Just go into itunes, select consolidate music library under tools, this will copy everything to a folder in My Music, called iTunes music. Then just copy that folder onto an external hard-drive (or a lot of CDs) and then onto your laptop. Install iTunes, then click open new library and select the one u just copied.
the easiest way is to put everything on a memory stick ( put just the songs on the memory stick) go to apple.com and donwload the latest itunes for free and the just copy them all and paste it in your itunes library ( or just copy and drag) if you dont have a mem stick you can get one(s) for about 5 dollars and up
Get a flash drive like this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?鈥?/a>
Any old flash drive will work, it doesn't have to be that exact one.
They can store more than CDs, so you don't have to use multiple CDs.
Get your music from its folder and drag it to the flash drive folder.
Then plug the drive into your laptop (:
Copy all your music from your old computer onto DVDs, then they will copy automatically to you new one! Painless, safe, and you will have the music on two computers no matter what! Also, you can google your question and get more details!!

put all your music on the ipod
on the new computer
Open iTunes.
From the Store menu, choose Authorize Computer.
To transfer iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer, follow these steps:
Connect your iPod or iPhone to the computer. If your iPod is synced with another iTunes library, the following dialog may appear:
Click the Transfer Purchases button.
iTunes will begin copying any purchases made with any account that the computer is authorized for.
If when you connect your iPod or iPhone you are not prompted by the dialog above, it could be that the option "Do not ask me again" was previously selected. Fortunately, there are two more ways you can copy your purchases from your iPod or iPhone.
After connecting your iPod or iPhone to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, you can choose Transfer Purchases from iPod from the File menu.
Or you can right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your iPod in the iTunes Source list, then choose Transfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
Make sure you de-authorize the old computer
If you want to do it buy data disk first open itunes then goto file: backup itunes library to disk
once you put it on a disk authorize the new computer and de-authorize the old computer
