the best way to use ipod transfer and backup program. i personally use PCHand iTransfer. i have experiences different ipod transfer program i choose it because it is a best ipod transfer and backup program. it can help me transfer movies/music/tv shows/podcasts from ipod/ipad/iphone to itunes or to computer.
The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer

http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tanse鈥?/a>

Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. The whole process goes as follows:

Firstly install this program on your computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide.

More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

you can use itransferstudio.

iTransferStudio can transfer your songs from iPod to computer, or even import into iTunes. Just connect you iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad to computer, and click "Transfer to Computer" or "Transfer to iTunes". In a couple of minutes, all your songs, playlists, play counts and ratings will be backed up safe and sound. With iTransferStudio, you can even transfer your songs by title, artist, playlist, genre or album.
In fact, once you've put the songs or video on iPod or iPhone, you can get them out of iPod or iPhone and put them on computer. If the songs are puchased from iTunes. you can easily transfer them to iTunes or computer by clicking "Transfer purchase". If your stuff are downloaded from other website. you can transfer them to computer with iPod transfer. like this one. http://www.allmediacopy.com/how-to-trans鈥?/a> . Get all of your iPod songs to computer or iTunes manually. Good luck. How do I transfer music from my ipod to my itunes library?
Hi, girl, if the music is purchased from iTunes store, just directly export them from your iPod and then to your computer. But if your stuff are downloaded from other website or got from your friends, then you have to get a third party software to transfer them to your computer, such as this iPod transfer, including windows %26amp; mac version:

Good luck.
I've just had this same problem for 3 bloody hours!! But I have managed to get it sorted :D

I'm not sure if you'll do this but I suggest you do, I can walk you through it if you find it too difficult to do.

- Download uTorrent for free and install it.

- Go to http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6048319/3herosoft_iPod_to_Computer_Transfer_3.7.4.1216_serial

- Download the software from that link using uTorrent.

- Once downloaded (should take about 30-60 seconds, its only a small file), you open the file location and double click the application.

- "Where is the Love?" by Black Eyed Peas will start playing lol. But that's normal. The screen will appear as a pair of hands holding an Archos 604 MP4 player.

- Click where it says "Serial" and a Notepad screen will pop up. Leave that open.

- Go back to the screen where it said Serial... then at the top it will say "3herosoft iPod to computer transfer 3.7.4.1216 Setup"

- Click that and then it will ask you for a Username and a Serial Key. Choose whatever you want as your username then from the Notepad page copy and paste the serial key.

- Just in case you dont know what the serial key is... it is exactly this...

Code_BrEaCkErS-New!-2F66-CE7C-1A3E-0E84

- Click "Register" then it will say Successful. :)

- Once that's done connect your iPod and it will scan it and show you a list of all your songs :D

- Select all of your songs (by checking them all). Then at the top there will be like a Yellow/Orange screen with a Blue Arrow pointing up. Click on that and select the folder where you want to put all your songs. Then click ok.

- Your songs will then copy over... mines just finished, over 900 songs saved :D

You're lucky that I'm here, because I have literally only just found this method 20 minutes ago!

drag and drop songs from the library to ur ipod.If the itunes version is different then sync will delete all the songs on ur ipod
I've done this several days ago. Really save time.

Go to iPod-tool.com and download the iPod to PC transfer software called Tansee iPod Transfer to help you backup all your iPod songs and videos.
get some copper wires and connect the holes on the outside of the ipod to the holes on the back of your computer then just heat up them copper wires and you get your fix
an itransferstudio will work great.
an ipod transfer will be perfect....
You have to download software from the net to do that. It costs I'm afraid, but it works.
