How can I put songs from my computer onto the iTunes library?

Ok, hears the story...

Before i had iTunes i saved a CD onto my computer but have since lost the CD!!

When i try to add the folder/a file to the library it says that it is saved as a WWA file, or wateva they are called, and says i can't convert it unless i have the CD!

Is there a way to get around that or is it just my unlucky day?How can I put songs from my computer onto the iTunes library?

Google"free WMA to MP3 converter" or something and try to find a program to convert them, and then add them to itunes
