I use the internet at the library with a time limit of an hour with a two hour daily allottment. There is a guy there that go from one computer to the next and plugs in a oblong gadget that seem to allow him to use the computers all day long. Can someone tell me what it is that he is using and how does work and where can I get one.How can I get unlimited use on public computers at the library?
It's probably a dongle that plugs into the USB port. Other libraries have systems that require passwords.
i would advise NOT attempting to stay online all day. The computers in a library belong to the tax payers, and a system that restricts time is intended to make it so everyone has fair and equitable access to the Library's computers.
If the guy using the dongle isn't Library staff, you should report him to the Library staff for abusing the computers, AND for wasting YOUR tax payer money. In almost ALL cases, bypassing the Library's computer system controls is, in fact, a CRIME.How can I get unlimited use on public computers at the library?
Don't know. Just ask him next time!
