Can you put songs already on your ipod into a new itunes library?

My computer recently broke which has left my ipod stranded, i now have a new one (computer) but the itunes library wont let me add my old songs. Help!?Can you put songs already on your ipod into a new itunes library?
yes... But you have to go thru another program

use idump

its free and works easily. Simply takes your songs from your ipod and saves them to your computer, then you transfer those into itunes using the add folder functionCan you put songs already on your ipod into a new itunes library?

No, unfortunately you can't. I had the same thing happen to me! It will let you transfer purchased songs from the iPod to the computer. The rest you will lose. This is how they make sure you buy stuff from the iTunes store. You shouldn't have to erase your iPod unless you want to add new stuff, though. Sorry I don't have better news! :)
No, but I think you can probably back up all your non-purchased songs on a CD or flash drive from the first computer and then put it into the second computer and put it on the iTunes library that way.
